Two projects awarded in the last cut-off of the EIC Pathfinder Open

We have been awarded two projects in the last cut-off of the EIC pathfinder open to work on the following breakthrough technologies! That’s a phenomenal 50% success rate! Congrats to our Principal Investigators, María Teresa Pérez and Jennifer Patterson!

  • BIOMET4D project: development of biodegradable, self-expandable and load-bearing metallic implants (coordinated by Dr Jennifer Patterson)
  • AM2SOFTMAG project: reduction of energy loss in electromagnetic systems via additive manufacturing of amorphous metals for soft magnets (led at IMDEA by Dr María Teresa Pérez)
